This position is for a contract in which the Company is pursuing. This position will be available upon successful contract award to the Company. The government has not provided an official start date for this contract, but the current contract expires September. Therefore, we anticipate an expected start date of September 2026.
Position SummaryThis position is on-site at Dyess Air Force Base near Abilene, TX.
The Electrical Engineering Technician position shall perform Engineering and Engineering Technician services required to develop, plan, program and execute Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects. This position shall perform all related administrative services required to perform unscheduled work, sustainment work (preventive maintenance), corrective maintenance and enhancement work which are not to be limited to: minor repair work, building automation or controls, and material requisitioning.
This position will support all related administrative services required to perform assigned work, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and any correspondence to meet work statement requirements.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThefollowinginexhaustive list ofdutiesrepresentsa sampleofworkroutinelyperformedbythis role:
- Ability to manage, inventory and distribute furnishings located in warehouse and 12 dormitories on Dyess AFB.
- Ability to conduct physical inventories as described in AFI 32-6000
- Ability to request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Governmentowned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines.
- Ability to identify and report suspected abuse or loss of property for items damaged, destroyed, or lost.
- Ability to purchase, receipt, issue, installation, warranty tracking, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
- Ability to prepare and update annually one- and five-year long-range furnishings plans.
- Ability to submit furnishings budgets to the Housing Chief as required.
Required Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
- Must have 2+ years of professional relevant experience related to oversight and management of inventory, tracking, monitoring, and repair/replacement of furnishings for government provided warehouses and dormitories.
- Proficient technical experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license to utilize a motor vehicle to navigate through Dyess AFB
Preferred Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
- Possession of vocational or degreed post high-school education (associate or bachelor's degree) in a relevant field such as interior design or interior architecture.
This position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.
