We are hiring a Project Controller /Coordinator based in Abilene, Texas to support project financial control,monitoring, and day to day coordination across active projects. This rolekeeps quotes, purchase orders, timesheets, and change orders organized and ontrack, working closely with project managers, the field team, and finance.
Key Duties &ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties and responsibilities shallinclude the following:
- Support project financial control and monitoring across activeprojects.
- Track project costs, budgets, and actuals, flagging discrepancies asneeded.
- Monitor quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders for accuracy.
- Open projects, create purchase orders, and create invoices withinthe company ERP system (Net Suite preferred).
- Maintain accurate and up to date records within the ERP system and supporting spreadsheets.
- Keep track of quotes, purchase orders, timesheets, and change ordersacross projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Support day to day project administration tasks.
- Communicate proactively with project managers, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare summaries and reports for leadership as needed.
- Respond promptly to internal and external stakeholder requests.
- Familiarity with project financial control and monitoring.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Net Suite, with the abilityto open projects, create purchase orders, and create invoices.
- Strong organizational skills to track quotes, purchase orders,timesheets, and change orders.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and other business tools.
- Willingness to work in the Abilene, TX office 4 days per week.
- Experience in wind or renewables.
- Experience in construction or another project based servicebusiness.
