Global Solutions International is seeking an Aircrew Scheduler to provide Advisory and Assistance Support (AAS) to an active duty bomber squadron under the AFGSC BSOS task order. This role fills a non-flying additional-duty function traditionally performed by pilots, weapons system officers, and electronic warfare officers, freeing aircrew to focus on flying-related qualification and readiness requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Update PEX/ARMS or equivalent systems and review/update student and permanent party records, folders, and grade books per applicable AFIs
- Administer classes and exams, coordinate crew scheduling for Crew Resource Management, Instrument Refresher Course, and pre-deployment training
- Perform weekly individual gradebook checks and provide weekly readiness status updates to squadron or group leadership
- Generate required reports/forms, including AF Form 4324, Monthly Aircrew Qualification Level Summary ("Letter of Xs"), RAP reports, and AF Form 8
- Notify crew members, scheduling, and leadership of upcoming/overdue testing, evaluations, and training via email, phone, or in person
- Interpret AFIs and provide guidance on training and readiness tracking; standardize technical order libraries and mission data cartridge checkout procedures as applicable
- Assist in developing new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training
- Secret clearance, active or previously held (expired, not revoked)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Share Point
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a squadron, group, or wing training/stan eval shop, or 3 years of experience in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing equivalent training/stan eval office
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Training or Stan Eval experience with another service or with ICBM units, which may be considered under a case-by-case waiver
- Familiarity with AFI 11-202 and AFI 11-2
MDS series regulations
This position requires a minimum active SECRET clearance (or a previously held Secret clearance, expired but not revoked) and U.S. citizenship. Contractor personnel must complete clearance verification prior to performance start unless otherwise approved in writing by the Contracting Officer.
