Position Overview

Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical is seeking a Project Coordinator to support large-scale electrical construction operations at the Abilene Data Center
. This role plays a key part in keeping projects organized and moving efficiently by supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership with documentation, scheduling, coordination, and communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination
  • Track and manage project documentation including RFIs and submittals
  • Maintain accurate project records in construction management platforms (ACC, Procore, or similar)
  • Assist with scheduling, manpower tracking, and material coordination
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for material deliveries and logistics
  • Attend project meetings, take detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items
  • Assist with QA/QC documentation and compliance tracking
  • Maintain clear communication between field operations and office leadership
  • Keep digital project files organized and up to date
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of experience in construction project coordination or project administration
  • Electrical construction experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with commercial or data center projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with ACC, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
