We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to oversee the construction of data centers performed by colocation providers after the data center is live. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are managed effectively to meet schedule, quality, and design requirements. The position is full‑time, located in Abilene, TX, for which relocation assistance is available. Candidates must be able to relocate to the Abilene area and must have prior data center construction experience and a history of leading construction teams.

• Heavy knowledge of base building data center construction, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing.
• Project management for startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address complex challenges in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Experience developing and implementing long‑term strategies and establishing program‑level requirements for construction projects.
• Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and operational requirements, with a focus on cutting‑edge technologies and sustainability.
• Proven leadership in managing large‑scale data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and on‑budget delivery.
• Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Proficiency in creating, managing, and optimizing project budgets.
• Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Experience selecting, negotiating, and managing contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• In‑depth knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies to ensure compliance in all construction activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and clear project updates.

• Focus on the base building and MEP infrastructure portions of the project.
• Lead and manage the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Analyze projects independently to evaluate risk profiles and inform the business of potential impacts.
• Coordinate tenant fit‑out integration throughout design, construction, and commissioning to align with base building projects.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to align construction activities with approved design plans and specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Oracle and colocation providers, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular project visits to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality throughout the life of the project.
