We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Construction Lead/Supervisor to join our team and help lead our projects to success.

Position Overview: As a Highway Construction Lead/Supervisor at HJC, you will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of dedicated Highway Construction Workers, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and TXDOT regulations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on road safety in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Highway Construction Workers
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of guardrails, cable barriers, concrete barrier walls, and road signs
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and TXDOT regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Travel within Texas (Monday through Friday)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Class A CDL license is preferred but not required for initial hire
  • Proven experience in highway construction or related field
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
