Position: Superintendent (Data Center)

Pay: $130,000 – $180,000 annually (DOE) + benefits

Overview

The Superintendent is the primary on‑site leader responsible for daily field execution and coordination of construction activities. This role ensures work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

The Superintendent works closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive field productivity, maintain safety compliance, and deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of zero incidents on site
  • Coordinate and manage daily work activities in alignment with project schedule
  • Monitor field productivity, quality of work, and adherence to project specifications
  • Collaborate with project management and project controls to maintain schedule milestones
  • Resolve field issues, conflicts, and constraints in real time
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper sequencing and minimize rework
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate execution
  • Identify, document, and escalation scope changes or out-of-scope work
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and daily logs
  • Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role in construction
  • Experience managing electrical, telecom, or mission‑critical/data center projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of field operations, safety practices, and construction sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple trades
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Required Qualifications
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
