ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. The Content and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for capturing, creating, and managing daily content for ACU’s social media channels, focusing on real‑time storytelling, student engagement, and maintaining an authentic online presence.

Responsibilities
  • Capture and create daily content—including photos, videos, and stories from students, faculty, and campus events.
  • Post, engage, and manage community interactions across all ACU social media channels, ensuring timely responses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and departments to source relevant and compelling content.
  • Cover live events, student activities, and key university moments in real‑time, producing engaging multimedia for various platforms.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise student employees, guiding them on social‑media best practices and ACU’s brand voice.
  • Ensure all social‑media content aligns with ACU’s mission, values, and student experience while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Collaborate closely with the Social Media Strategist to align content with broader marketing and communication goals.
  • Monitor ACU‑affiliated accounts, social‑media trends, student interests, and industry best practices to keep content fresh, engaging, and relevant.
