Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship-trained Total Joint Interested in joining an independent, physician-led practice Committed to building a long-term career in West Texas The practice is particularly interested in physicians who value:
Practice autonomy Collegiality and teamwork Community involvement Partnership and ownership opportunities The ability to develop and grow a high-volume practice Call Responsibilities Clinic call responsibilities are shared among the orthopedic surgeons The group currently consists of five physicians, with call expected to grow to approximately 1:6 and beyond as additional providers join the practice No mandatory hospital call Physicians are encouraged, but not required, to participate in voluntary trauma call coverage at the local hospital The primary focus of the opportunity is developing an elective, subspecialty orthopedic practice Trauma Call Opportunities For physicians who elect to participate in trauma call, the affiliated hospital is a Level III Trauma Center .

Potential cases may include:
Extremity fractures Joint injuries Sports-related injuries Spine consultations Periprosthetic fractures General orthopedic trauma cases Practice Structure & Schedule The final schedule will be tailored to specialty focus, patient demand, operating room availability, and individual practice growth. A typical full-time schedule may include:
Outpatient clinic Surgery and procedures Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) time Hospital-based surgical cases Operating Room Access Approximately 1 to 1.5 days of OR time weekly initially OR block time expands as patient volume and procedural demand increase Opportunity to build a robust surgical practice supported by strong referral sources and growing community demand Why Abilene?
