Overview

Life Wise Academy invites passionate volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children by assisting them in Life Wise classes. This Bible-based character education program seeks to reach public school students with the gospel during school hours.

• Model Positive Behavior
  • Exemplify godly character
  • Set a standard for classroom behavior
  • Engage actively during Bible lessons
  • Participate fully in classroom activities
• Develop Relationships with Students
  • Learn and remember students' names
  • Take the time to connect with students
  • Join in activities to facilitate conversation
• Support Classroom Management
  • Assist teachers with managing student behavior
  • Provide proximity support to students as needed
  • Remind students of expected behaviors
  • Relocate students as necessary to minimize distractions
• Assist with Classroom Activities
  • Distribute classroom supplies like pencils and papers
  • Help facilitate class games and activities
  • Provide additional assistance to students with special needs
• Escort Students
  • Monitor students during restroom breaks
• Chaperone students to and from their Life Wise classes as needed
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• A strong personal Christian faith aligned with Life Wise Academy's Statement of Faith
• Active involvement in a local church that shares similar beliefs
