SUMMARY/SCOPE: We are hiring a part-time faculty member to teach a class in Stage Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate effective teaching strategies by planning and implementing a variety of teaching methods as wellas assessment.

Maintain accurate records and documents, submit timely reports, and be responsive to students.

Records/documents include but are not limited to syllabi and grades.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

At least a master's degree withat least 18 graduate hours in a relevant academic area, OR several years of relevant and significant professional experience is required. Teaching experience is preferred.

None are required for this position at this time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The job is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing office and computer operations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This position is a part-time/temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week).

Mustbe a resident of the state of Texas.
