SUMMARY/SCOPE: PA Adjunct faculty will teach/coordinate adidactic course during the final Fall semester for the graduating cohort. They will participate with departmental grading and remediation as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create content for the specified course,to include lectures, discussion posts, assignments, and assessments to preparestudents to enter clinical practice. Ensure presented material adequatelyreflects updates to current clinical practice. Provide feedback to students ina timely fashion that promotes. Timely grade submitted assignments and assessments in alignment with course instructional objectives and learning outcomes. Manage the Learning Management System for course activity and examdelivery software for assessments.
Ensure content delivered is aligned with
ARC-PA Standards. Complete required documentation related to student meetings,grading, and remediation. Submit final grading per university policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's Level training in Physician Assistant Studies
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a current Texas PA License (or other state with eligibility for Texas licensure).
Must possess a current NCCPACertification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The job is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or standfor long periods of time while performing office and computer operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Online and in classroom activities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position is a part-time/temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week) with teaching load at the Hardin-Simmons University campus.
Mustbe a resident of the state of Texas.
