Job Title:
Human Resources/Training - Trainer Sr. Duration: 6+ month contract (poss. ext.) Pay Rate: $46.06/hr, On w2 (flexibility) Position Summary Key Responsibilities Training Delivery
- Facilitate instructor‑led training programs for data center technicians, engineers, operators, contractors, and support personnel.
- Deliver onboarding, technical, operational, safety, compliance, and role‑specific training curricula.
- Conduct hands‑on demonstrations and practical exercises in classroom, lab, and production environments.
- Ensure training is delivered consistently across shifts, teams, and locations.
- Adapt delivery methods to accommodate various learning styles and experience levels.
- Create an engaging and interactive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge retention.
- Evaluate learner comprehension through assessments, practical demonstrations, simulations, and observation.
- Provide coaching and feedback to learners to support skill development and performance improvement.
- Track attendance, completion records, certifications, and training outcomes.
Maintain a strong understanding of data center operations, including:
- Critical infrastructure systems
- Power and cooling systems
- Physical security requirements
- Environmental health and safety standards
Stay current on operational procedures, tools, and technology changes that impact training content.
Program Support- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to improve training materials and delivery methods.
- Provide feedback on curriculum effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support training audits, compliance requirements, and certification programs.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, classroom setup, and training resource management.
- Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
- Ensure all training activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Reinforce adherence to data center operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Technical Education, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of instructor‑led training delivery experience.
- Experience facilitating technical training in a data center, manufacturing, industrial, military, telecommunications, utilities, or mission‑critical environment.
- Strong presentation, communication, and classroom facilitation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and training documentation tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and presentation software.
- Ability to stand and present for extended periods.
