Adjunct Professor

ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.

Adjunct professors will be responsible for teaching and supporting student learning. Their duties will include:

• Preparing course materials, lectures, and assignments.
• Teaching classes in person.
• Assessing student work through exams, papers, projects, and other assignments.
• Providing feedback and grading in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.
• Following the institution's curriculum, academic policies, and learning outcomes.
• Communicating regularly with department chairs or program coordinators.

Adjunct professor qualifications include:

• A master's degree or significant industry experience alongside academic credentials.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Subject-matter expertise.
• Effective classroom management.

• Proficiency with educational technology.
