Qualifications- Current state certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
- Experience or training in educational interpreting and working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Prior experience supporting students at PreK and elementary levels a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Provide interpreting services and instructional support to PreK and elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote accessible learning environments
- Adapt educational materials and environments for students’ unique needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
