Qualifications
  • Current state certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
  • Experience or training in educational interpreting and working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Prior experience supporting students at PreK and elementary levels a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
  • Provide interpreting services and instructional support to PreK and elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote accessible learning environments
  • Adapt educational materials and environments for students’ unique needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
