We are currently looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Guildford and the surrounding areas
. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN professionals, Teaching Assistants, support workers, or individuals looking to develop a rewarding career in education.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils

• Supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs

• Helping pupils access and engage with classroom learning

• Supporting pupils with their communication, social and emotional development

• Implementing individual learning and support strategies

• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals

• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence

• Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

We are looking for people who are:

Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential
. Experience working with children, young people, care, support work or similar settings can be highly valuable.
