• Use design modeling software (REVIT® and AutoCAD) to produce constructible 2D and 3D models of electrical system components such as switch gear, cable tray, conduit, panel boards, control panels and lighting.
• Prepare construction documents, single‑line diagrams, panel schedules and equipment layouts according to specs, sketches and rough drafts.
• Coordinate with other design professionals and the build team to eliminate construction errors and reduce time/costs related to clash detection.
• Develop detailed dimensioned installation drawings to improve field electrician efficiency.
• Perform surveying, when required, to document existing conditions.
• Create prefab drawings, details and BOMs for fabrication.
• Perform fundamental engineering functions such as lighting & power design and layouts, single‑line designs, panel schedules and load calculations.
• Organize construction drawing details and respond to construction administration items as they arise.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in a consulting or construction environment.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AEC, ACC, Autodesk, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local electrical building codes.
• Experience using Evolve software is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently in a fast‑paced environment, assessing multiple demands and managing priorities with a high degree of detail and organizational skills.
• Occasional travel will be required.
