Construction Scheduler
The Construction Scheduler supports operations by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed schedules across engineering, fabrication, and construction phases. This role works closely with Project Managers, field teams, fabrication shops, CAD, and procurement to align internal schedules with customer milestones, support labor forecasting, and drive on-time project delivery. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules from conceptual planning through construction.
- Coordinate schedules across engineering, fabrication, procurement, and field operations.
- Integrate customer schedules with internal project schedules and identify impacts or risks.
- Track production status, critical milestones, and long-lead procurement items.
- Analyze schedule changes, delays, and progress updates; recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide weekly schedule and labor forecasting reports to field and operations leadership.
- Participate in weekly project and production meetings to review progress and risks.
- Support internal project reviews, risk analysis, and schedule documentation.
- Assist project teams in improving planning and scheduling practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of construction experience; 2+ years in scheduling or project controls preferred.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling; experience with Takt Planning and Last Planner a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience with MEP or mechanical construction sequencing preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
