Position Overview
Our client is a premier specialty pharmacy in Abilene, TX, dedicated to the field of Dermatology. We believe that pharmaceutical excellence is both a craft and a calling. We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist who finds purpose in the details and believes that clinical accuracy is the most powerful way to show care for a patient. In this role, you aren’t just a part of a process;
you are a vital clinical anchor. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑integrity environment where your adaptability and focus ensure that every prescription processed begins with precision and trust.
Salary: $125,000 – $145,000 Base Salary
Location: Abilene, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Weekends)
- Clinical Verification:
Perform meticulous verification of prescription information and final verification of medications with a zero‑error mindset. - Workflow Integration:
Support multiple pharmacy departments with a flexible, "team‑first" attitude, ensuring smooth transitions between clinical tasks and operational needs. - Collaborative Care:
Work closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, and leadership to maintain the highest standards of dermatology‑specific care. - Regulatory & Growth Support:
Maintain a current Texas license and assist in obtaining additional state licensures as the pharmacy expands its reach to more patients. - Professional Excellence:
Communicate clearly, humbly, and respectfully with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Education:
Pharm
D or RPh from an accredited School of Pharmacy. - Licensure:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Texas. - Detail Orientation: A proven history of meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to error‑free work in a dynamic environment.
- Tech Savvy:
Strong computer and data entry skills; comfortable navigating modern pharmacy software systems. - Adaptability:
The ability to gracefully shift gears when priorities change while maintaining clinical composure.
- Experience:
2+ years of Pharmacist experience is preferred, but we are open to high‑caliber candidates who demonstrate the right "heart for teamwork" and technical aptitude. - Licensure:
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses to support the pharmacy’s growth.
