The Physical Therapy Assistant will collaborate closely with the Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services to both inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Work under the supervision and direction of the Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Provide hands‑on assistance and instruction to patients during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.
• Current Texas license or must be actively in the application process for obtaining the state license

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy, is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Empathy and patience in working with patients facing physical challenges.

Ballinger Memorial Hospital District offers numerous outpatient services, acute and swing bed care, and is certified as a level IV trauma ER.
