Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in Texas requiring a compact RN license and specialized certifications.

Job Details

• Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting,

• Night shift, working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

• May be required to float to other floors or campuses as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license in hand,

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required,

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience,

• Completion of required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place,

• Preferred experience with Altera charting system, but not required,

• Must live at least 150 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,

• Prior perm staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler,

• Travel experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Mandatory facility drug screen upon arrival, including testing for Marijuana and CBD products,

• Clinicians must complete non-billable modules during orientation, averaging 6-8 hours,

• Must be flexible with floating and work assignments as needed,

• References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment are required,

• Required documentation must be submitted by the specified deadline for consideration,
