Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for day‑to‑day operational management of Ballinger Memorial Hospital, a designated Critical Access Hospital. The COO provides strategic leadership, ensures compliance with CAH regulatory requirements, optimizes rural health delivery systems, and collaborates closely with the CEO/Administrator and executive team to support high‑quality healthcare services.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational management of the hospital
• Provide strategic leadership for hospital operations
• Ensure compliance with Critical Access Hospital regulatory requirements
• Optimize rural health delivery systems
• Collaborate closely with the CEO/Administrator and executive team members

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (required)

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership in hospital operations
• At least 5 years of experience in a rural or Critical Access Hospital setting
• FACHE or similar professional certification strongly preferred
