Specialty Technician - CHF Clinic

Job Summary

Specialty Technicians perform a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist nursing personnel in the examination; treatment; and care of patients. Additionally;
Specialty Technicians perform clerical tasks as assigned and according to the assignment setting. Specialty Technicians have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continuing education.

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

• No previous experience required.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• BCLS certification

Knowledge; and Abilities

• Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
• Input data into computer programs.
• Ability to work with therapeutic equipment.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
