Job Title:
Certified Medical Billing Specialist
We are hiring! We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to lead our revenue cycle operations. If you are detail-oriented, knowledgeable in medical billing regulations, and committed to patient service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Cycle: Manage end-to-end claims, denials, and appeals.
- Payment Processing: Accurately post insurance and patient payments.
- Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and track authorizations.
- Communication: Coordinate with providers, the billing team, and patients to resolve account issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a physician practice.
- Certification (CPB, CBCS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Athena Health, CPT, ICD-10, and major insurance payers.
