Job Duties
  • Perform CT scanning procedures accurately and efficiently per physician orders and department protocols.
  • Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures to ensure the safe and effective utilization of the CT scanner.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Operate CT equipment and related technology in compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Review images for quality and technical accuracy before submission to radiologists.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging files.
  • Monitor and maintain CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation protection guidelines for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver high‑quality patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide excellent patient communication and customer service throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered.
  • Texas Medical Board – MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license.
  • CPR/BLS Certification required.
