Hospice​/Palliative Medicine Physician

Palliative Care opening in Abilene, Texas About Position:

Located in Abilene, TXFull-time, permanent position

Provide personal care and assist with the activities of daily living for patients in end of life care Rotating;
Dayshift Minimum Work Experience - 6 months experience

Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Nurse Aide Certification
- Current Heart Saver CPR Certification
- Current Driver's License Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Accountable for the regulatory requirements, functions, and duties of the Hospice Aide
- Deals effectively with community/consumers
- Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care
- Understand the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
- Must be knowledgeable of quality and performance improvement activities
- Proven written and editing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Requires ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills
