Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Abilene, TX! In this full-time, Monday-through-Friday day-shift role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients according to the principles and practices of speech-language pathology. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide oversight to technicians and support staff, all while enjoying a predictable outpatient schedule, competitive pay, and generous relocation and sign-on incentives.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday through Friday (Days)

Location:

1900 Pine Street, Abilene, TX 79601

Pay Range: $36–$45+/hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Relocation Assistance: $5,000

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech-language treatment programs for patients
  • Apply established principles and practices of speech-language pathology to patient care
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Delegate and monitor the work of technicians and other support staff
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using computer-based systems
  • Utilize and maintain familiarity with rehabilitation equipment as needed for patient treatment

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum relevant work experience required
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Hours
  • Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the State of Texas, or eligible for licensure
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Texas Driver's License (required only for individuals designated as HMC Designated Drivers per policy)
  • Proficiency entering data into computer programs
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
