We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient role in Abilene, Texas.
Responsibilities- executing specialized therapy plans
- guiding patients through exercises to enhance motor skills and coordination
- teaching Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- instructing on adaptive equipment use
- documenting patient progress
- providing emotional support
- training caregivers
- Texas or compact license
- at least two years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a long-term care setting
- Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) experience preferred
- knowledge of therapy techniques
- patient assessment
- documentation

- preparing treatment areas
- equipment sanitation
- administrative tasks like scheduling and billing
