Position Overview

The Change Management Specialist – AI and Technology Enablement will be embedded within the change management team and support day-to-day change management execution on complex projects. This role is not a separate technology function; rather, it applies practical technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to help the change management team improve consistency, visibility, documentation, reporting, and decision-making.

The position will work closely with project teams, Legal, Project Management, Finance, Risk Management, project controls, engineering, document control, field teams, and enterprise support groups to strengthen change identification, documentation, routing, tracking, reporting, and resolution. Key systems may include InEight, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, external document control and change management platforms, and related project systems.

The role will help translate contract, commercial, and project requirements into practical workflows used by the change management team, including tools for notices, PCO tracking, RFIs, approvals, schedule impacts, documentation requirements, and client deliverables. By embedding technology and AI into the team’s existing processes, this position will support better adoption, compliance, traceability, and overall project performance.

This role offers the opportunity to build deep knowledge of construction change management while working directly with experienced commercial and project teams, modern project systems, and practical technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

District Overview

Kiewit Industrial delivers complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects across North America, supporting high-growth markets such as advanced technology, industrial manufacturing, process facilities, energy, and mission-critical environments. Teams work on large, fast-paced projects that require disciplined planning, integrated project controls, and close coordination across construction, engineering, procurement, and business management.

Location

This position may be based in a district or area office or on a project site, depending on business needs. The role supports both office-based and project-based operations and may require travel or relocation depending on assignment.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an embedded member of the change management team, supporting daily execution of change intake, PCO tracking, notices, RFIs, approvals, documentation, reporting, and team handoffs.
  • Use practical technology and AI-enabled tools, including InEight, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, reporting tools, and related project systems, to improve change management consistency, visibility, and efficiency.
  • Translate commercial, contract, and project requirements into team-level workflows, templates, prompts, trackers, and guidance that support change notices, documentation, approvals, schedule impacts, and client deliverables.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, AI-assisted summaries, and tracking tools to help the change management team monitor risks, trends, delays, opportunities, scope changes, contractual milestones, notice periods, and approval requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Project Management, Finance, Risk Management, project controls, engineering, document control, field teams, and enterprise technology stakeholders to support aligned, compliant, and well-documented change management practices.
  • Support reviews of change management provisions, client tools and procedures, notice and documentation requirements, schedule baseline data, approval workflows, and prime contract flow-down obligations from a practical execution perspective.
  • Assist the change management team with rollout, testing, configuration, access coordination, governance, training, and adoption of selected platforms, workflows, and AI-enabled solutions used in project execution.
  • Provide troubleshooting, workflow documentation, training materials, data quality review, and continuous improvement
