ACU requires employees to be a professing Christian and to support the Christian mission of the university.
Responsibilities- Courier library materials between the five key locations within the city of Abilene every weekday.
- Deliver library materials on a set schedule and route.
- Ensure materials are properly sorted for delivery.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Reliable personal transportation with auto insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of books up to 25 lbs each.
- Ability to climb stairs, navigate curbs, and walk distances of 50 yards using a rolling hand truck.
- Detail-oriented.
- Customer-service focused.
- Must be a professing Christian and willing to support the Christian mission.
Background checks are conducted for security-sensitive positions. Additional checks may be required for current employees upon hire.
