Hedrick Medical Center South - 6250 Highway 82-84, Abilene, TX 79606.

Full time and part time schedules;

• Prior dishwashing experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour.

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; performs cleaning of garbage cans as needed.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
