Job Overview
Evergreen Innovation Group, a division of DPR Family of Companies, is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of electrical commercial construction experience. This leadership role is responsible for directing the project team to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Supervise and lead all project team members, including Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
- Mentor, develop, and train team members to support fast‑paced growth.
- Provide direct day‑to‑day project execution oversight, including controls, engineering decisions, cost management, risk mitigation, and business management.
- Maintain detailed, hands‑on knowledge of project scope and specifications.
- Control costs, manage billings, and oversee collections for assigned projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with owners and architects.
- Challenge and support the jobsite and self‑perform work teams to ensure quality and safety.
- Account for project completion, financial performance, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
- 10+ years of Project Management experience in electrical commercial construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent listening, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and foster team morale.
- Deep understanding of building processes, systems, cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project‑management software such as Prolog, Primavera, CMIC, or similar tools.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, “can‑do” attitude.
The position requires in‑person work at the job site in Abilene, TX, with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer. Travel to and from the office and assigned job sites as needed.
