Position: Mission Delivery Coordinator (Part-time)

Description

The Mission Delivery Coordinator (Part-Time) is responsible for supporting membership growth, volunteer engagement, community outreach, and girl programming initiatives within an assigned geographic area for Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP). Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position collaborates with girls, volunteers, families, community organizations, schools, and local stakeholders to increase awareness of Girl Scouting, expand access to programs and opportunities, and support the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

The Mission Delivery Coordinator serves as a versatile member of the Mission Delivery team, providing support across multiple functional areas including community engagement, membership recruitment, volunteer support, program delivery, partnership development, and member engagement. This position works closely with volunteers and community partners to strengthen relationships, support local initiatives, and ensure girls and adult members have access to meaningful and impactful Girl Scout experiences.

Through relationship building, community outreach, volunteer support, and program implementation, the Mission Delivery Coordinator contributes to membership growth, volunteer satisfaction, community impact, and positive outcomes for girls throughout the assigned geographic area.

The Mission Delivery Coordinator exercises judgment within the scope of assigned responsibilities and collaborates with the Regional Manager on matters impacting community engagement, membership growth, volunteer support, girl programming, and regional priorities. This part‑time position performs a combination of outreach, recruitment, program support, volunteer engagement, and administrative functions requiring adaptability, initiative, relationship‑building skills, and a commitment to exceptional member experiences.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Girl Programming & Community Partnerships
  • Analyzes the needs of girls as identified by Mission Delivery leadership and develops program experiences that address those needs.
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with community partners that enhance girl programming and expand opportunities for girls.
  • Coordinates partnership agreements, including Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and communicates relevant information to staff and stakeholders.
  • Implements girl programming and leadership development experiences that support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
  • Serves as a backup to the Highest Awards function by supporting mentoring sessions, documentation processing, training delivery, and related activities.
  • Maintains positive and professional relationships with girls, volunteers, community partners, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Membership Recruitment & Community Engagement
  • Assists with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and plans that support membership growth.
  • Supports major recruitment events and membership campaigns throughout the year.
  • Participates in school, community, and outreach events to increase awareness of Girl Scouting and promote membership opportunities.
  • Represents Girl Scouts at community presentations, events, and engagement activities as assigned.
  • Supports recruitment initiatives and membership events as needed.
  • Volunteer Engagement & Staff Support
  • Serves as a mentor and resource for Mission Delivery staff in the Amarillo and Lubbock areas.
  • Assists with the onboarding, training, and development of new Mission Delivery staff.
