Perianesthesia Nurse

Overview

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) seeks Perianesthesia RNs to join our office-based anesthesia practice in Abilene, TX. We provide an office-based anesthesia model replicated nationwide. We offer an environment that supports safe, effective, and financially viable patient care through a dedicated team.

We are looking for skilled and talented pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to service our office-based anesthesia facilities in Abilene.

• Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient
• Intra-operative care and post-operative/recovery care
• Maintain the pharmacy and supplies, safely handling all equipment
• Participate in quality performance improvement activities
• Assist with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal as needed

• Schedule:
  
  2nd & 4th weeks – Monday and Wednesday; 1st & 3rd weeks – Monday and Tuesday
• No evenings, Sundays, or holidays
• Location:
  
  Abilene, TX

• Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active TX RN license
• Minimum 3 years ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations

At AAC, our mission is to provide a comprehensive peri-operative solution to surgeons and dentists, allowing them to perform procedures safely in their office. Our clinical model provides the surgeon or dentist with an anesthesia provider, perianesthesia RN, and all related medications, supplies, and equipment directly to the client on the day of their scheduled procedures.
