Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse for an ICU position at an LTACH facility, requiring ICU and charge experience with a TX or compact license.
Responsibilities- Work in the ICU unit of a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
- Provides ICU and intermediate care at critical care levels
- Cares for both ICU and med-surg patient flow
- Patient ratios up to 1:5 at maximum
- Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend work required every other weekend
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Must provide references for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- COVID and flu vaccination requirements not specified
- Active TX or compact RN license with no current restrictions
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
- Prior experience as a Charge RN is required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience providing both ICU and IMC level care
