Nurse Practitioner

Overview

ERP International is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time position in support of the Flight Operational Medicine clinic at 7th Medical Group located at Dyess AFB, TX.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with a one hour lunch.

NO Weekends, NO Call, NO Holidays

• Provide a full range of outcome‑based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
• Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidence‑based educational lectures and participate in in‑service training.
• Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician.
• Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals and positive health behaviors through both formal and individual education and counseling.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans/actions.
• Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used.
• Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience:
  
  At least one year of experience in the last two years.
• License and Certification:
  Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from any state;
  Relevant AANC or AANP certification.
• Life Support Certification:
  Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Security:
  Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
