Job Description
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at Bio Life Plasma Services. Responsible for donor eligibility, monitoring donor reactions, reviewing lab results, and supporting center operational and medical needs.

Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis.
- Manage donor adverse events and respond to donor reactions according to SOPs.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test outcomes.
- Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations of pandemic threats.
- Assist with EHS guidance and environmental, health and safety support.
- Support center operations under guidance of Center Manager or Assistant Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent or graduate‑equivalent nursing program with state approval.
- Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- State‑approved basic IV therapy training.
- Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Hourly wage range: $23.04 – $31.68. Additional benefits: medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, short‑ and long‑term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year, 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires.
