Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is looking for a travel nurse RN ICU in Abilene, Texas for a 13‑week assignment (36 hr per week, 12‑hour night shifts).

Travel. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Total Med Travel Job .

Evaluate and monitor ICU patients, document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other providers as appropriate, and provide education and support to patient families.

• Provide basic bedside care
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, collect lab samples and interpret reports
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing
• Communicate patients' conditions to family members

• Registered Nurse (RN) specialty ICU – Intensive Care Unit
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Capable of standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working nights
