Shift: Night & Day Shifts Available Full-Time

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse in the CVPCU, you will provide essential care to patients with heart disease, cardiovascular complications, and other life-threatening conditions requiring intensive monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cardiac Monitoring:
  Use advanced telemetry equipment to monitor patients ECG and heart rate data.
• Critical Care:
  Assess and respond to cardiac emergencies in a progressive care setting, ensuring appropriate interventions.
• Collaboration:
  Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care plans for cardiac patients.
• Patient Education:
  Provide guidance on heart health, lifestyle changes, and post-surgical care.
• Documentation & Communication:
  Accurately document patient progress and changes, and effectively communicate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN).
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• CPR-BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required before completion of orientation).
• Experience:
  Open to new graduates and experienced nurses.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of cardiovascular nursing and ability to interpret telemetry data.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professional standards.
