Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator, LVN, performs supervisory functions over professional nursing and support staff in an inpatient unit, hospital-based clinic, or treatment program in various patient care settings.
Job RequirementsMinimum Education
- Completion of Vocational Nursing Program or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Vocational Nurse, licensed in the state of Texas
- Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
- Thorough knowledge of planning, scheduling, coordinating, and establishing goals and priorities for nursing and support staff in a health care setting
- Knowledge in conflict resolution
- Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising
- Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
- Skill in problem solving
- Skill in verbal and written communication
- Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
- Ability to set priorities among multiple requests
- Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively
