Rehabilitation Clinician

Encompass Health seeks a dedicated rehabilitation clinician to provide high-quality inpatient rehab care in our award-winning hospital. In this role, you'll assess patients recovering from major illness or injury, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to maximize functional recovery. You'll educate patients and families, coordinate safe discharges, and contribute to quality and performance-improvement initiatives, all within a patient-centered, team-oriented culture that supports ongoing learning, specialty training, and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient rehabilitation care to patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and ongoing care needs.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the EHR.
• Participate in discharge planning to support safe transitions home or to other settings.
• Adhere to clinical, safety, and infection-control standards and policies.
• Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence initiatives.
