Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical standards throughout your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, observe for complications, and promptly report any changes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using electronic health record systems.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic charting systems, preferably Altera.
• Be available to complete lab work or required documentation within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
• Able to work night shifts (3x12 hours) with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a facility-conducted drug screening, including Marijuana, with no exceptions.
