Job Summary

As a PACU Recovery Room RN, you'll play an essential role in post-anesthesia patient care. Using your expertise, you will monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patients post-surgery, interpreting vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act standards.

Who We're Looking For

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree).
• Experience:
  
  Open to new graduates; PACU or recovery experience is a plus.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Active RN license.
• Current CPR-BCLS certification.
• ACLS & PALS (required within 30 days of hire).
• Skills:
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced recovery environment.
• Professional demeanor and communication.
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on-call.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,000.00 - $ per year
