Full Time Exempt Position - Plans, organizes and directs the provision of Quality Services. Establishes policies and procedures related to the Department and to Utilization Review and Quality Assurance activities. Integrates all Infection Control findings and outcomes. Plans, organizes and monitors Quality Assurance, Case Management and Staff Services. Performs duties as the Secretary to the Medical Staff. Manages the Utilization Review Program and the Infection Control Program.

Interacts with patients, family members, medical staff members and other department directors on a daily basis. Maintains confidentiality as required. Requires a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and a Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. Experience in assisting with Medical Staff Committee functions preferred. Leadership and management abilities and effective oral and written communication skills required.

Prior knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules on Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement preferred.
