Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Abilene, TX

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Accurately document patient care activities using facility charting systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Complete required facility orientation modules during the onboarding period

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Current and verifiable certifications required
• Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year prior to placement
• Must be able to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required

• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced Med Surg / Telemetry environment with a target start date within the next 3–5 weeks
• Orientation modules are completed on-site and are factored into your overall onboarding schedule
