Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide specialized cardiovascular care. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, obtaining consent, and ensuring pre-procedure protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and procedural findings using electronic charting systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including compliance with travel and drug screening policies, to ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Respond to urgent patient needs during procedures and provide post-procedure care and education.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current certification verification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related cardiovascular setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Altera charting or similar electronic health records; travel experience preferred.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and ability to work rotating day shifts with call responsibilities.
• Maintain compliance with all travel regulations, including drug screening and certification requirements.
