Abilene Zoo is seeking a dedicated Zookeeper Assistant to perform daily husbandry for a diverse animal collection, including mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and amphibians. You will assist with feeding, cleaning, exhibit maintenance, and enrichment under the supervision of the Zookeeper Supervisor.
The role requires observing animal welfare, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with veterinary-guided treatments. Flexibility with schedule and outdoors work is expected.
