Position Overview
As Director of Quality, you will lead all quality assurance, quality control, and compliance functions across manufacturing and service operations. You'll play a critical role in shaping quality strategy while remaining closely connected to day-to-day execution-ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.
This is a highly influential leadership position where you will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to embed a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll Do
Quality Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the development and evolution of a robust Quality Management System across multiple facilities and product lines
- Establish and drive quality objectives aligned with operational goals and customer expectations
- Serve as the senior advisor on all quality-related matters, influencing strategy at the highest levels
- Oversee quality across fabrication, welding, coating, assembly, and final inspection operations
- Ensure adherence to industry codes and standards while driving first-time quality and defect prevention
- Partner closely with Operations and Engineering to strengthen process capability and consistency
- Lead all external audits, certifications, and customer inspections
- Ensure continuous audit readiness through strong internal controls and documentation practices
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives that lead to lasting improvements
- Leverage data and performance metrics to identify trends and optimize quality outcomes
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization
- Establish supplier quality standards and evaluation processes
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and elevate overall supply chain performance
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing quality team
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
- Elevate quality awareness across the organization through training and engagement
You're a strategic yet hands-on leader who understands how to balance big-picture vision with operational execution. You bring deep expertise in manufacturing quality and thrive in environments where precision, accountability, and continuous improvement are critical.
Your background may include:
- Extensive experience leading quality functions in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, welding, fabrication, and coating processes
- Expertise in quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proven success driving corrective actions and systemic process improvements
