American Communities is looking for a Leasing Consultant to help prospective residents find their next home and create an exceptional resident experience.

American Communities is a family-owned real estate company focused on revitalizing apartment communities and transforming them into homes.

• Welcome, qualify, and tour prospective residents through available apartment homes.
• Convert prospects into new leases through effective sales and follow-up.
• Respond to phone and internet leads and maintain strong prospect relationships.
• Process applications, leases, and required documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident questions and concerns.
• Support marketing efforts and maintain relationships with apartment locators and local businesses.
• Assist with resident retention programs and competitive property shopping.
• Keep the leasing office, model apartments, amenities, and community looking their best.
• Stay current on rental rates, availability, community amenities, policies, and
  Fair Housing requirements
  .

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate or College degree preferred.
• Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, sales, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; experience with
  Yardi, Blue Moon, Microsoft Word, and Excel is a plus.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
