Chef

We are seeking a skilled chef to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Abilene, TX on a swing shift schedule. This role involves preparing and delivering exceptional breakfast and dinner meals to our guests, with a schedule of 2 breakfast shifts and 2 night shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

• Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and dinner meals according to Hilton Garden Inn standards
• Manage food preparation and ensure timely meal service during assigned shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet guest needs and preferences
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

• Previous experience as a hotel chef or similar role preferred
• Ability to work a swing shift schedule: 2 breakfast shifts and 2 night shifts weekly
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Flexibility and reliability in work schedule

• Competitive pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly
